You cannot play Mutt-z.com if you do object to any of the following conditions.
These Terms and Conditions are here to enhance everyone's game playing experience, not to hinder it. Following the rules will enforce equality and fairness among the community. The recommended age of game play is thirteen. Individuals younger than thirteen need to ask their parents or guardians for permission to play. We cannot guarantee that certain aspects of the site will not offend certain age groups despite the best efforts of the administrators and moderators.
General Code of Conduct
→ You are responsible for all actions on your account - no one else is held liable.
→ English is the only language permissble for conversing on the site. You may insert phrases or mention words of foreign language, but you cannot communicate in any other languages but English for your duration on Muttz.
→ Harassment, vulgar language and profanity is prohibited.
→ If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it.
Mutt-z.com is not an advertisement base. Please keep references to games and products to a minimal by mentioning it only in a casual conversation.
Hacking, injections, auto-refreshers, external scripts or any form of harming the site will result in an immediate ban from the site. Cheating is prohibited.
Use of copyrighted material is prohibited. You must never claim the work of others as your own - always give credit to the original owners. "Hot-linking" is not allowed.
→ Treat all players as you would like to be treated yourself.
→ Harassment and threats to any players will not be tolerated.
→ Respect other players views and wishes, even if they are not the same as yours.
We take bullying on Muttz seriously, threatening or bullying other users will result in a ban from the site.
No issues may be raised on Muttz that may deliberately harm or hurt a player's feelings. Discussion of inappropriate topics, like pornography, hate-threads or debates that may be offensive to others are not allowed. Personal issues should not be raised in the public forums. Please be respectful of all age groups that appear on MZ. Mail is an option players may use to converse among each other privately if any of those topics are covered.
Sensitive topics, including but not limited to, Abuse, Mental Illness and other serious issues (as the Moderators and Administrators deem fit to fall under this category) are not allowed to be discussed on Muttz's Boards/Chat. If you do need help or want to talk about one of these things, there are plenty of sites specifically devoted to such things, and due to Muttz's younger crowd, discussing these things intensively are not permitted on Muttz's Boards/Chat.
Spamming of the boards and chatroom is not permitted. Spamming defined as, but not limited to: posting multiple threads/posts of the same content (accidental double posting excluded), Sending messages to other members begging/advertising.
- abbreviations are permitted (eg. ASAP, Mr., Mrs.), but not the use of "chat speak" (eg. iz ur dawg 4 sale??)
- refrain from excessive capitalization, punctuation and bright colors which deter other users
Severe defiance may eventually lead to suspensions and bans from the site's forum and chatroom.
Please note that privileges on the site are privileges, not rights. They can be taken away at any time with or without a reason.
Any one who uses the site must obey to the Terms and Conditions, staff ("administrators", "moderators", "artists") are not exempted from this rule.
You must report any found errors or glitches ("bugs") immediately to get it fixed. If the error can be abused, you must report it privately by mailing an administrator. Muttz does not stand for players abusing bugs. Abuse of bugs will result in in a consequence deemed appropriate for your actions.
Should you decide to sell or give something to a player on this site and you wish to get it back, they have every right to refuse your offer. Muttz will not refund, reimburse or oversee your in-site trading in any way.
You are solely responsible of your own actions. Muttz will not be held liable or anyone else for any crude behavior.
If you share an IP address with other members of the household or friends, you must notify a moderator or administrator. Failing to do so will put you at risk as being labelled as a cheater.
Administrators and moderators are here to keep the site safe, among other things. Respect them as they are doing their job. Administrators and moderators have the final say in disputes as long as it complies with the Terms and Conditions, they act at their discretion. Rebellion and or not listening to Administrators and Moderators will result in action taken against you.
You have the right to hear the truth and to let your side of the story be heard.
Muttz property ("cash", "diamonds", "accounts", "items") cannot be exchanged for real life currency or other gaming currency. Cash, diamonds and items can only be transferred between the community on Muttz. Accounts are not allowed to be swapped, sold, or transferred. Once you make an account, it is yours as long as Muttz stands.
You cannot share accounts - no one should have access to your account. If you are unable to take care of your dogs, you have the option to put them into a boarder or lock your account. You may not ask someone to watch over your account, known as account-sitting.
→ Upgraded accounts will not receive special treatment. All accounts adhere to the same rules.
Muttz reserves the right to shut down temporarily, shut down permanently or be sold at any given time without the consent or notice of its players for any reason.
Muttz does not have to recover lost belongings on the site.
Administrators and moderators have the power to reset, delete and alter kennels, names, topics, dogs or anything that violates the conditions. Accounts that have been inactive for over a year will be subjected to recycling ("re-use by a new player") in the future without consent. Accounts that have been created and have not been logged into for more than 48 hours will be subjected to re-use.
Muttz and its community as a whole is not responsible for your actions off-site and on-site. Any psychological repercussions or behaviors attained from the use of Muttz is at your own discretion.
All ideas, art, coding, text and scripts on the site belong to and are therefore copyrighted by Muttz. You may not steal or manipulate any of our belongings without consent, failure to comply will result in heavy fines and penalties.
Upon registering, you have agreed to allow Muttz to collect your IP address, cookies and any other details you provide during registration and time of login. Only information required to ensure a smooth-running experience will be collected. Information will not be passed onto any third parties without the player's consent. However, if at any time, legal action needs to be taken against the player, Muttz reserves the right to give necessary information to the correct authorities.
Muttz is free. Players are not obligated to donate in order to play.
All donation sizes are welcome, but once we receive the donation there will be no refunds. Players who initiate chargebacks will be banned. Users who donate do not receive special treatments from the site and are not entitled to disobey the rules.
Muttz does not associate with, nor are sponsored by any other businesses. Any use of a reference to a trademark made on offical Mz documents is just a reference and bares no link with the business itself. Prolonged use of the site over long durations will result in eye strain.
Muttz holds the right to modify the Terms and Conditions at any point in time without player consent.
